Bruce Montgomery, MD, is a board certified oncologist, Professor of Medicine, Oncology and Urology, University of Washington, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and VA Puget Sound HCS. He is clinical Director of the VA/PCF POPCAP network. Dr. Montgomery sees patients and conducts clinical trials across all institutions. Dr. Montgomery earned his M.D. at Duke, did residency training at Brigham and Women's hospital and fellowship at Fred Huchinson Cancer Center. He and his colleagues are researching new ways of making prostate cancer cells more sensitive to chemotherapy and hormonal therapy.
