Position Description
A health services organization in Casselberry, Florida (Seminole County) is currently seeking a dedicated Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This role involves working in a facility with a focus on serving an underserved population, operating closely with other providers across various specialties.
About the Opportunity:
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, urgent care-like environment within an FQHC setting.
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-12pm
- Setting: Family practice/Urgent care
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing primary healthcare services to patients
- Collaborating with a team of healthcare providers
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans
- Educating patients on health maintenance and prevention
- Participating in rotating call duties every 8-10 weeks
Qualifications:
- Experience as an NP or PA
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Active Florida NP or PA license
