On behalf of our conference partner, Barkley & Associates, Inc., the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners (FLANP) is honored to invite you to the 2017 FLANP Annual Conference, Pharmacology and Skills Update, Orlando Sea World Resort at Double Tree by Hilton. We invite you to join your Nurse Practitioner (NP) colleagues from all over the state as they strengthen practice skills, and gain valuable, evidence based knowledge to enhance advanced nursing practice.

To maximize your contact hours, we have streamlined the two-day conference to allow for easy travel and reasonable costs. The conference willoffer 9.5 contact hours of continuing education, of which 7 contact hours will be pharmacology focused.

Nationally renowned faculty presenters include Thomas Barkley, Jr. PhD, ACNP-BC, ANP, FAANP, Joan King, PhD, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FAANP and Elizabeth Vande Waa, PhD.

Educational content will include a 12-lead EKG skills update and a variety of evidence-based pharmacology updates. Included in this year’s agenda is a timely overview of Florida’s legislative priorities regarding ongoing efforts to reduce practice barriers and improve patient outcomes. This will include an update on the recent adoption of controlled substance prescribing privileges and progress toward full practice authority in Florida.
