In 2016 the FL Action Coalition funded Dr. Lynn Unruh, Nurse Economist to conduct a research study to estimate the economic impact of removing barriers to full-scope Advanced Practice Nursing in Florida. The result was an excellent report which was beneficial to the effort of nurse leaders and advocates to effect legislative changes in our state. This is an outstanding example of the Florida Center for Nursing’s role – to educate and inform decision makers related to the nursing workforce in our state. You will note that the FCN is sited as the funder for the work on page 10.
As a co-author of the recently published article, Elsevier provides me the opportunity to share the article providing free access to it for 50 days. Below is the link for your use. If you are interested in seeing the original report it is available on the FCN website.
